Thanksgiving

Today our house is filled with aromas of peach cobbler, sweet potato pie, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, greens, fried turkey, homemade macaroni and cheese and dressing with so much more.

We have received many calls from our family saying Happy Thanksgiving. It is a joyous occasion for us all. We are joining our friends later to fellowship together about what we are most thankful for.

Our family is in another state but God has made sure we have had a family in Christ to connect with on special days such as these.

I am most thankful for my savior and family. My daughter came to me with the scripture “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name” (Psalm 100:4).

Today as you fellowship with your family eating all the wonderful delights that you wait all year for; remember to drop a hint of spices from the word. Share your gift of salvation to another so they will be encouraged to know Christ.

This is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it, (Psalm 118:24) sharing Him with thanksgiving to everyone. Happy Holidays!
